Founded in 2014 by principle designer Daniel Cordova, Cordova Studio offers a classical approach to design and architectural remodels. Born and raised in the high deserts of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Daniel was surrounded by natural and architectural beauty all of his life. Having grown up as an equestrian studying the intense and demanding discipline of Dressage, Daniel’s attention to detail and devoted work ethic was ingrained in him from a very young age. His passion for interiors and architecture comes from a long standing interest in history and world studies that was instilled in him by his family from a very young age. From the beginning, Daniel has always looked to better his surroundings by imparting a sense of simplicity, order, and symmetry. Having studied interior architecture at the Art Institute, Daniel went on to work for two of Los Angeles’ most prolific and talented design houses. His first job out of school was for the renowned designer to the stars, Jeff Andrews. Daniel worked with Jeff for 4 years, completing numerous projects for A listers such as Ryan Seacrest, Michael C. Hall and Jamie King, before being offered a position with world class designer Kerry Joyce. While at Kerry’s studio, Daniel was quickly promoted to director of interiors and assumed the responsibility of overseeing projects all across the country, including Aspen, New York, and Los Angeles. During this time Daniel developed a fluency in both traditional and contemporary styles which he carries forward to his work today. Now, as Daniel oversees the design team at Cordova Studio, he continues to create a broad range of work, from city and country homes to historical estates and ground up construction. The end product is always a refined and livable home that reflect the personality and sensibilities of the clients.
